As part of a major project to implement Office 365, we needed to ensure that we had sufficient end-user expertise within the organisation to assist with the introduction and roll-out of the upgraded and new Office applications.   IT Training and Development Ltd provided the necessary training and familiarisation on a ‘train the trainer’ basis via a customised course delivered on-site to twelve delegates who have now become our ‘Business Champions’.   The training was delivered by Dawn, who has proven to be extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable, working with the delegates on a structured but flexible approach to address any questions raised. Viking SeaTech implemented SAP B1 during 2012 to provide the business with a platform to control and monitor key processes and enable further corporate development and expansion. A key element of the implementation programme was intensive training of all system users according to the requirements of their job. To fulfil this important function and ensure a seamless transition to SAP B1, Viking SeaTech engaged IT Training and Development Ltd (ITTD), a company local to the Aberdeen area. Working closely with the Implementation Manager, ITTD developed a bespoke training programme and delivered on-site training at key phases according to individual needs. Training was undertaken in both of Viking SeaTech’s Aberdeen offices (both Operating and Corporate) and in the Stavanger office. Training was completed on schedule enabling SAP B1 implementation targets to be successfully achieved in both Aberdeen and Norway – considered to be a major milestone in 2012. Ongoing support has been provided as the use of SAP is extended within the business.
